Creating a MFT Workorder

   1.     By default when you open up Internet Explorer you should taken to our company Intranet, http://SV-100/MFT/. 

a.      If you are not taken directly to our Intranet, type the address above in your url box.

2.     Then click on Work Orders, RMAs, and Projects.

3.     Next you will click on Add New Work order.

4.     Under the Company field, type in the name of the company that the workorder is for.

5.     Click Save Changes.

6.     Click on \Work Orders\MFT Work order Template 090022005.dot. Fill out the work order template as you normally would.

7.     To save the work order, go to File àSave As à Change the Save as Type to .doc.

8.     Name the file in the format of ‘Company date work order#’ (example: Colbert Packaging 12-9-05 2005168)

9.     Under save in, Browse to the appropriate folder you want to save the file in.

10. Click Save

11. Close the work order document.

12. The intranet page for your work order should still be open. Now you can Add Machine. The SN’s are assigned by Mark Bisping after the work order review meeting.

13. Fill in the necessary machines by serial number or part number. If you are not sure, you can use the Price List Intranet page to get part numbers. (http://sv-100/MFT/PriceList.aspx)

14. Be sure to Save and Close for each machine added.

15. To print out the work order, click on Printable Work order.

16. Then go to file à Print
