Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 350SLD Industrial Performance Friction Feeder with MFT 150PA Print and Apply Labeler. System Operation: The feeder will separate and feed your products from a stack in the hopper of the feeder. A product sensor detects the product. A single label is printed, dispensed onto the tamp pad and held in place by vacuum. The pneumatic tamp pad then extends applying the label onto the product. The tamp pad then retracts and is ready for the next product call. System Notes: - The label will be place centered onto the product - While the products did feed in the condition they arrived and were shown in the video it is recommended to run flatter products. If the products become to curled, warped, twisted they may not feed. - The feeder comes with a 30" tall in feed stack but actual loading capacity is product dependent. Due to these being curled, warped and twisted that does limit the loading height. Labeler Note: -Typical placement accuracy is ±2mm to ±3mm and is exclusive of product and/or label variations -MFT assumes that the customer has pre-qualified both the label material and the product for compatibility -Label supply roll = 8-20" OD x 3" ID Core -The paper label liner must be free of cuts, nicks and deep die-line cuts to be successfully applied Thermal Printer Notes: -MFT will test the unit by simply printing the word "text" onto the print area to prove functionality only. -MFT is not providing the Printer software with this proposal -MFT assumes that the customer has pre-qualified both the label and ribbon for compatibility -MFT is not responsible for smudging, smearing and print quality due to incompatibility of label and thermal ribbon -The customer is responsible for the creation of all print formats -The customer will supply the approved thermal ribbon -The label print time can and will affect the throughput of the system Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test one (1) product with one (1) label combination each. If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval Notes: -This proposal is formal for all tested products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: - Shingling Conveyor to accumulate the products in shingled fashion as they exit. - Catch Tray to accumulate the products in a vertical stack up to 3" tall. - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Spare Parts Kit
