Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 250FSLD Industrial Performance Friction Feeder with flexible discharge, Automatic Product Loader APL 2000-190. System Operation: The system will separate and feed your filled powder and liquid pouches from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. Once the start sensor detects a passing box the feeder will use the Accutipping Controller with encoder to accurately place the product during line speed changes by adjusting the speed and placement delay of the inserted pouch. MFT will provide a dispense monitoring PLC which will function as demonstrated during the demo. This will monitor to ensure a pouch has been dispensed from the feeder for every cycle within a period of time. If a pouch isn't dispensed the feeder will fault and provide a dry contact to your system. Specification Note: -MFT is proposing some common options that maybe included in the Specifications but may not satisfy the specification itself -This proposal consists of standard MFT product line offerings. Please consult with your MFT Representative, go through the specifications and determine what items apply and are truly required for this project. System Notes: -The system is equipped with an APL 3000-190 inline Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity BUT without the APL stand -An additional sensor will be provided to P&G to monitor for low product on the APL. This sensor will be used to stop the input of boxes into the system. -The third pouch is listed to show future capability for the configuration of the feeder to dimensionally allow this product to fit. Because samples will not be provided prior to the order the feed-ability of this product is unknown and cannot be guaranteed. -Insertion Rate of 98% of the cartons need to be inserted with a sachet (no missing sachets). -The target products per minute is 90. -The estimated loading capacity of a 3 meter APL is 150 products plus some in the hopper of the feeder for a total estimate of 115 products. -Two operators maybe required for loading to keep up to the rate -MFT is not supplying a IQ/OQ since not MFT is not quoting per the specifications submitted Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test two (2) products. If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -Five (5) Eight Hours Days for Machine Acceptance is included with this proposal. Notes: -This proposal is formal for the two (2) products as tested -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -A URS was submitted with this proposal. MFT takes exception to the proposal but has included line times that may align with the specifications as submitted. -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer.
