Project Scope: Featuring:(4) MFT IP 550XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeders and a conveyor. System Operation: The proposed system is for a (4) station feeding unit which will collate your products into an alternating pattern (i.e. A/B/C,A/B/C,etc) The system will begin with a base feeder separating and feeding your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. This feeder will us an encoder to follow the speed of the base conveyor to place a product based on a distance. The remaining (3) feeders will then trigger off the first product that was placed to create the collated sequence. The collated products will then transfer into the in feed hopper of your existing folder gluer. There will be a start sensor to detect the level of the in feed hopper and as it empties out the collating will automatically turn on and replenish the stack to maintain an operating level. System Notes: - The addition of the APL's is being quoted based on El Paso Paperbox saying they currently run with a 12" - 18" vertical stack height. Samples will need to be provided for testing with the 90 degree APL. - MFT will provide a (2) year warranty on the system. This does not include consumables. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test one (1) product per feeder for a TOTAL of one (1) collated product offering. If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -Product flow is left to right when facing the feeder controls -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval Notes: -This proposal is budgetary with the additional of the APL's. Samples will need to be provided to confirm the compatibility of the 90 degree APL. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Spare Parts Kit
