Project Scope: Featuring: MFT Roll to Sheet Tipping System, Flat Belt Conveyor on Purple Weldment Frame. System Operation UPDTAED 1/22/26: The system will begin by receiving the base product from your existing system. The base product will already be glued by your upstream process. As the base product enter the flat belt conveyor, guides are used to ensure the each base product is squared.. Next the Roll to Sheet System unwinds your rolls of plastic material, cutting it into individual 13" long sheets. The cut sheet are transfer into the tipping driven discharge. The tipping driven discharge, using MFT's Accutipping Controller with encoder feedback, accurately tips the sheet onto the top of the passing base product. The finished products exits MFT flat belt conveyor to the customers equipment System Notes: - The actual sheet width that we will cut is 19" wide. - Entrance height - 33" - 36" - Exit height - 33" - 36 - The sheets will need to be relatively square and aligned as they enter the system. The estimated alignment is +/- 0.0625 or 1.588mm left to right (0.125" and 3.176mm total). - The sheets will enter the system with a gap between products. - The adhesive that will already be on the top surface of the base product from upstream equipment is best described as tape. - The compression roller will be a roller the width of the product. There are not specifications for the amount of compression. It is only to give more tack to the clear sheet to the base product along the width of the product. - Placement tolerance will be ±1/16". - The system will be configured so that the system is Right to Left. - The system needs to allow for a range of 33" - 36". We can go 32" which Joel modeled up +4 (or more) inches. Roll information: Core: 3" Diameter: 15" Weight 167 lbs. Max width 19" Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test two (2) products with a single cut length each. If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval Notes: -This proposal is formal having tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance
