Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 350 XED Base, MFT IP 350 SLD Tipping feeder, APL for the tipping feeder and a Vacuum Track Conveyor. System Operation: The base feeder will separate and feed the products from a stack and place them onto the vacuum track conveyor. The base product will travel down the conveyor where glue will be applied to the top surface. The tipping feeder will then place a product on top of the base product. The product then moves forward where it is buckle folded in half and then the minor flaps are folded over to complete the products. The folded product is collected and handled by the operator as they exit the conveyor. System Notes: - The feeder will have a low threshold sensor which will pause the base feeder once the stack gets below that level. - Pinnacle is responsible for the transition of the product into the hopper of the feeder including any sensors or controls. - Product flow is left to right when facing the Feeder and VTC controls - The system will be positioned 90 degrees to Pinnacles line. - The products will be transferred into the feeder from the mechanical side of the feeder. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test one (3) products combination = one (3) base products and one (3) tipping products. If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval Notes: -This proposal is formal. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: - 2 Meter Long Shingling Conveyor with Transfer Roller to collect the products as they exit. - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Spare Parts Kit
Notes: WO2025091 Pinnacle MUST SHIP DATE 12/23 NOW 2/29 due to testing samples; 3/13 PRODUCT DUE DATE: 12/04 -received 1/19; new product in 2/26 Per PO #25286RW5849 Please Contact Pinnacle for Freight Shipping Arrangements **Marketing Video - Monday 3/9 at Noon** DONE __________________________________________________ 4/20: QA Completed - Moved to Shipping - JL 4-17-26 - approval to ship via payment being made and email to accounting they would like to schedule a pickup - JI 4/16: emails with Rick at Pinnacle to confirm power and pause sensor; Jim to get approval yet; QA back ups are required but other QA items completed 4/14: Pause sensor to be set up correctly (confirmation -Hunter), needs dimensions and weight (send again -Russ) for shipping, and customer took samples to get approval from client's customer 4/13: Pinnacle: visit today at 1pm; no money 4/9: Pinnacle visit on Monday and make sure system is running by Integration 4/6: what is the final product - gluing questions to be resolved by Sales 4/2: Jim has meeting today with customer today; do we need to glue the insert? 3/31: QA Completed - JL 3/30: No approval yet; tracking numbers sent to Jim for samples QA is being done right now and the unit is on the pallet; documentation being finalized by Integration and return done; 3/26: Today sending samples to customer overnight per Jim's instructions; change over and run-off video sent off yesterday; some improvement to be made - additional vacuum and jam sensor to buckle fold area (stopping VTC belt); training of Mike Ericson 3/25: Added video links below - HML 3/25: Small and Medium video cone; change over video completed; large product changed over now; should run video of large run and change over; EOD should have all video completed to send to customer 3/24: finished all wheels; replaced sensor; start sensor for tipping feeder required adjustment; tipping feeder set at 75% to match speeds/accuracy (75M/M speed - use lug to web). 3/23: making more videos with additional rollers added for center pressure of glue; do all change-overs; should complete tomorrow 3/19: Dale is about done with parts for center rollers to secure glue; install once received parts and should be testing around Noon today; ERC to be completed 3/18: adding center crush roller to center of belts for hang tab adhesion/closure; set-up to be documented for small product; then do a change-over video 3/17: new sample being sent but same as 2nd samples; looking at additional hold down wheels; looking at glue system and some over-spray (recipe gone); lowered glue heads; testing soon 3/16: Waiting on Sales for direction and/or new samples to run -KSJ 3-12: waiting for samples 3/10: Shot promotional video; glue is misfiring and need to be set-up; waiting for more samples and sent approval video 3/5: medium product 5-minute video done today (no inserts because of curl); changing to small right now; 3/4: Video of large product complete (5min) and documented set-up; changing over to medium product now; product sensor issue on feeder to be resolved with David; goal is to run medium product today and then change over to small 3/3: added an array of wheels for hang tab glue issue - look good!!!! Have Elliott do red-lines and show machine 3/2: new product in 2/26, thinner but runs the same; moving glue heads and test; open end of envelope needs to be sealed consistently is what we are missing 2/24: finished change over on large envelope and video; parked and waiting on new samples; looks like a gremlin have been knocked out 2/23: just about changed over to large product; new sample in Tues/Wed with deeper folding scores; changing glues (MFT in house); forwarded video of Medium to Sales (Jim); 2/20: Jim is having the customer make us new samples with deeper scores that go all the way to the edges. -HML 2/18: product needs to be better scores (deeper); do a video and photos of medium product, send to Sales to show what we are fighting; switching to large product after video 2/17: Steve finished guarding; running product with new "crusher assembly" edge wipe down; Medium is currently being proven; 2/5: fighting glue heads because over belts - moving belts - medium not video 2/4: back on track and had struggles squaring up products - 1 minute run off and document set up; then change to large on (not ran yet) 2/3: running the medium product, video for 1 minute; record changeovers and move onto next product; 2/2: changed over to medium size product and having issue sealing middle of envelope. 1/27: buckle fold and plow folding; need to figure out trigger sensor for glue; 1/26: In Integration 1/22: Pinnacle glued system plumed and will powered up; dial in folding today; 1/21: Working on glue system set-up; both feeders going; plow fold roughed in 1/20: Testing samples in; still work required by Integration; added laser indicators to adjustments so to repeat; moved ship date to 2/29 -KSJ 1/19: ran hand full of products and looks good; getting laser marks on folding assembly. 1/15: ET is done and moved to Integration; working on in INT 1/14: Samples shipping at end of week; Ruyan and Mike are working on it; last of Nordson to be here 1/14-15 1/12: INT working on mounting, glue heads, hoses 1/5: Need to check with Ryan; Nordson missing items are in; 12/29: no glue guns but we have 2 nozzles and 2 hoses - Russ to check on; samples still needed; base feeder roughed in; Ryan is doing some wiring 12/23: Ryan working on; in INT area; gluer items are ordered 12/22: Moved from Production to EE - JL 12/22: Hunter talked with Josh/Tony and moving to Integration today; move to EE for wiring; no testing samples yet 12/18: 350 feeder needs to be changed to a 550 feeder -KSJ 12/17: Tony and Josh working on; looking at lesser samples 6000 total each; 12/16: bed mounted onto frame; building up around the bed; 12/15: Frame, PVC, blower is mounted; Tony working on it. 12/10-12/11: assembling; sample here next year?
