Project Scope: Featuring: MFT 350 IP3 ED Series Friction Feeder The "base product" travels on the existing folder gluer machine. The customer's glue system applies a "spot" of glue to the traveling "base product". The Friction Feeder separates your products from an inclined stack and transfers them one at a time onto the discharge of the feeder. The feeder, signaled by the start sensor, detects a "base product" and feeds the product onto the "spot" glue surface between the pinch point of a customer supplied Pressure Roller Assembly and the "base product". The process then repeats for the next product. A Narrow Product Kit is included allowing products down to 1" in width to be run on the machine. System Notes: -The Feeder is equipped with three (3) sets of feed belts and stripper wheels total. -The Feeder will be configured with two (2) standard width stripper wheels and belts (30mm) and one (1) narrow set (10mm) to accommodate narrower product. -The feeders tip various products onto a Moll Folder Gluer machine. -Accutipping Controls - an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the top sheet is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. -No mount or mounting hardware is included in this proposal - customer to supply. Set Up and Approval Note: -This proposal does not include the set-up and testing of a product. -This proposal does not include a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval. Notes: -This proposal is FORMAL based upon feeding industry standard CR 80 cards. -This proposal does not include a system layout drawing. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in "Scope". A "scope” change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance.
