Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 350SLD Friction Feeder with Enclosure for Customer Supplied Laser System. System Description: The feeder separates and feeds your backers from a stack in the infeed hopper of the feeder. The backers are individually transported through the discharge of the feeder. A customer supplied laser printer mounted above the feeder's discharge will mark the backers. The products will be collected on a shingling conveyor in shingled fashion. System Notes: -REV 02: The feeder will index on every product but the PLC will maintain an overall count for that batch and a down counter. -The shingling conveyor will not have end stoppers or a sensor to allow the product to go off the end of the conveyor. -Product flow is left to right when facing the feeders' controls -Rejuvaskin will send the laser to MFT to be mounted. -Rejuvaskin will schedule for a technician be on-site at MFT St. Paul, MN to program and set up the laser once MFT has mounted the laser head. -MFT is not responsible for the laser coding and/or quality of print. Empty cartons (flat) will vary in width which may effect the ability of the laser to print consistently. -MFT will require SolidWorks drawings of Laser components to be mounted - laser head and HMI specifically -The product sensor of the feeder will be on an extruded mount to allow the sensor to be moved up and down stream, if needed. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test two (2) products (smallest and largest). If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -One (1) Day Machine Acceptance is included with this proposal. Notes: -This proposal is formal for all tested products (does not include any laser marking during testing, only feeding) -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Options Available: - Catch Tray, Start Sensor and Sensor bracket to collect the product in a vertical stack up to 3" tall. - Shingling Conveyor with transfer roller and end stops for product collection in shingled fashion as they exit. - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Spare Parts Kit
