Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 250SLD Tipping Feeder w/ APL 3000-290 Automatic Product Loader. The operator loads the product onto the Automatic Product Loader (APL) which presents the products at 90° to the feeder. As the feeder feeds the products the APL replenishes the stack. Upon detecting a passing base product, the feeder will accurately place the product onto your base product using the Continuous Accutipping Controller with encoder feedback. System Notes: -The base products will need to be presented to the tipping feeder squarely. -The base must be controlled while on the base conveyor and it can't slip or lurch on the belt. -The throughput shown in the sample section is based on a linear line speed of 100 meter per minute or less. -The product will need to be die-cut in a manner that the products do not interlock together. If the products interlock the feeder will not be able to feed them and the feeding with either stall or the system will jam. Westrock will need to provide samples that do not interlock for proper operation. The vacuum chamber, vacuum Piab (not including air source) and pneumatic shaker have been added to assist with the interlocking but it will not overcome all interlocking. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test two (2) products (added one in rev.5 - KSJ). Additional set-ups are available as an option. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval Notes: -This proposal is "budgetary" having NOT tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in "Scope". A "scope” change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Sold Option items: - Signal Interface Cable to allow you to get machine status. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Relay Interface box to provide a dry contact to your system when the feeder has a fault condition.
