Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 550XED Friction Feeder w/ HDSR (HD Stand with Rollers) The feeder separates and feeds your products from a stack in the infeed hopper of the feeder. The feeder is signaled to feed by a start sensor detecting a passing lug on your existing lugged conveyor. The feeder will have a remote pause button, which will suppress the start sensor when the button is pressed by the operator. When the button is pressed a second time the feeder will resume function. System Note: -The feeder will be mounted to a height adjustable stand on rollers. -The sensor will need to be mounted by the customer on the customers' host conveyor to detect the lug -The feeder comes with a 30" tall infeed but the actual stack height is product dependent and will vary from one product to the next. -In order for proper feeding operation the products cannot be stuck together from any excess glue. This includes glue coming out the sides or from the holes drilled in the product. If the products stick together, they will need to be conditioned by the operator breaking them free, before loading. If they are bonded together too much/often, the products may not be feedable. Set Up and Approval Note: -MFT will set-up and test two (2) products, Products #2 and #3 only. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval Notes: -This proposal is formal for the tested products only per the video provided -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a system. This proposal does not include system guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in Scope. A scope change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Optional items: - Static Minimizer to reduce static build up from the feeding process. - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Spare Parts Kit
