Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 250ED Friction Feeders Qty. 8 The friction feeder will separate your booklets from a stack in the in-feed hopper of the feeder. The booklets will be loaded in alternating fashion with a short stack of spines to the left, short stack of spines to the right, etc. Once the feeder receives a dry contact signal from Can-am, a single booklet will be dispensed. System Notes: -Four (4) feeders will feed the thinner booklet #1. -Four (4) feeders will feed the thicker booklet #2 and will be equipped with a secondary double detection sensor (prox.). The secondary double detection sensor mounted near the end of the discharge detects doubles for the thicker books. When the sensor detect two booklets on top of each other, it will signal and stop the feeder producing a fault. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will set-up and test Product #1 for four feeders and Product #2 for the other four feeders. If, for some unforeseen reason, additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval showing one (1) system running product #1 and one (1) system running product #2. An in person visit at MFT St. Paul, MN can be optioned. -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -Any information provided after the order is considered a change in "Scope". A "scope” change quote will be provided to accommodate any/all additions and all changes will be billable to the customer. -MFT is not including a layout drawing with this proposal or order but it can be optioned. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Optional items: - Signal Interface Cable to allow Can Am to get machine status and send the dry contact start pulse. - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Spare Parts Kit - Stack light to show machines status from a glance.
