Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP550 SLD Friction Feeder; Impresso Labeler; APL (Automatic Product Loader) Products loaded onto the APL will supply the infeed hopper of the feeder, which will separate and feed your products from a stack and transfer them individually onto the discharge. As the products are transported through the discharge of the feeder, the label applicator will apply a label to the top surface of the product. After labeling, products exit the discharge of the feeder and transfer onto a flat belt conveyor to allow Timberland to do their secondary operations. Finished products will be collected in a catch tray for an operator to remove. Once the collected product stack has been removed from the catch tray, the feeder will automatically begin counting the next batch. System Notes: -MFT will setup and run the brown bag (longest), corrugated box and plastic bag. Any additional setup and testing can be added from the optional items. -The product will need to be free of curls, warps, rolled edges and twist for proper operation. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will set-up and test three (3) products with one (1) label combination each. If, for some unforeseen reason additional parts/options are required for untested products, the customer is responsible for all associated costs. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -This proposal assumes that the customer will integrate, install and test the system at their facility -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video ONLY for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -MFT is not providing a layout drawing with this proposal -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance Labeler Notes: -Typical placement accuracy is ±2mm to ±3mm and is exclusive of product and/or label variations -Label supply roll = up to 20" OD with 3" ID Core -The paper label liner must be free of cuts, nicks and deep die-line cuts to be successfully applied at the speeds as quoted -MFT is not responsible for the RFID chip and any breakage (chip detaching from antenna) that might occur while being handled and/or dispense on the MFT labeler. MFT assumes that the RFID chip has been tested for automated dispensing. Optional items: - Signal Interface Cable to allow you to get machine status. - Product Pneumatic Shaker to actuate the stack as they are fed. - Siko Feeder Adjustment to provide a readout of the stripper wheel height adjustment and the upper discharge. - Product index support to provide a scaled readout on the support curve. - Low Product Sensor and bracket to provide a low product warning (stack light required for visual display). - Stack light to show machines status from a glance. - Shingling Conveyor with transfer roller to allow the product to be accumulated in shingled fashion.
