Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 550XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder with 372mm long discharge. The system receives a dry contact signal from your machine signaling the feeder. The feeder then separates and dispenses your products from a stack in the in-feed hopper into your existing tray. This process repeats when Briner removes the bag that was just fed. Notes: -This proposal is "formal" having tested all products. -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -MFT will set-up and test one (1) product. Additional set-ups are available as an option. -Briner will mount and integrate the feeder to their existing line and handle the transfer from the feeder into their existing tray. -MFT is not responsible for pinch points created by the Integration of MFT supplied equipment and the Clients equipment (i.e.: feeders, labelers, conveyors, lugs, etc.). It is the sole responsibility of the client to address and add any additional guarding to meet local and federal OSHA requirements. -MFT will provide the customer a video for machine acceptance/shipment approval -Standard MFT components are being integrated to make a "system". This proposal does not include "system" guarding. Guarding should be discussed with your MFT Representative to assure the system as proposed meets your project's requirements. MFT can option guarding per your projects’ requirements. -This proposal does not include MFT customer on-site training and/or installation assistance. Other Notes: -The feeder comes with a 750mm tall in feed magazine but actual stack height is product dependent and these products will not achieve the full loading capacity of the in feed magazine. The loading capacity in the video is estimated at the approximate height the system will be able to achieve. -Bags as supplied for demo testing had significant corner curling. Straps to assist in guiding the product lead edge into the feeder will be provided to reduce feeding issues; however, the operator will need to condition the bags as they load them into the hopper of the feeder so the curl to the front of the bag is facing down to the feed belts. This is particularly important when bags are fed face-up, as the curl is more prominent in this feeding orientation. Optional items: -HDSR 1000-550 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers to mount the feeder. With height adjustment and casters. -APL 2000-485 Automatic Product Loader for increased loading capacity. Requires transfer straps from the optional items, as well, and product conditioning by the operator. -Static Minimizer to reduce static that is built up during the feeding process.
