Project Scope: The proposed upgrade is for a change to your existing PLC controller with the following updates. a. Additions to sequence of operation: i. Add BatchID and JobID columns to the group of columns that are currently read in so they can be part of the data file that is written when the operator closes the job. ii. Copy the original data file to the InProcess folder after successfully reading in the data file. iii. Delete the original data file from MFT folder after successfully reading in file. iv. Add 3 additional blank columns to data table for Status, Date & Time, & Machine #. v. Add a Machine# field to one of the settings screens. (Could be number or letters) vi. As products run through the system and are transferred to the shingling conveyor or removed by hand, do the following to the product’s record in the data file: 1. Assign a G(good), NG(not good), or OR(operator removed) status to each product. 2. Assign a data and time indicating when the product exited the tracking system. 3. Assign the Machine# to that product vii. When the “Close Job” button is pressed by operator: 1. All data file rows with a blank status column will have an NP(not processed) status assigned to them. 2. Write an 8-column data file to the Processed folder including Status, DT, and Machine# a. Column definitions: BatchID\|JobID\|MatchBarcodeValue1\|MatchBarcodeValue2\|MatchBarcodeValue3\|Status\|Date&TimeStamp\|MachineNum 3. Copy the original data file from the InProcess folder to the Archived folder. 4. Delete the original data file from the InProcess folder. viii. Add a button to open the original version of the currently-loaded CSV file with a CSV viewer. (The status, date & time, & Machine# won’t be displayed here because it is the original data file.) b. Add function to hand-scanner to automatically append the .csv extension to the filename contained in the barcode data. c. Add the display of the BatchID number that is currently loaded to the main screen.
Notes: Shutterfly WO 2022170 4/20: Greg going on site on Friday 4/21. 4/13: No update 4/6: EE is pretty close. Greg B will finalize a few connections on the data file. 3/30: No EE at meeting to provide update 3/23: 95% of Greg C's time done. Greg B. has about half a day left. Beckhoff assisting with issues. Hope to install at the same time. Have a meeting this afternoon and will figure out when we can install. 3/16: Controllers are done at Beckhoff. Requested software which caused some delay. Should have controllers next week 3/2: Update unknown. EE not present. 2/23: Update unknown. EE not at meeting. 2/16: No change. Approximately 20% done. 2/9: Working on it in EE. 2/2: No change. Tried to start working on it yesterday. 1/26: No change. 1/19: Need to get starting EE. Still in queue. 1/12: waiting in EE queue. 1/5: Upgrade.
