Project Scope: Featuring: MFT 2000 290 APL(Automatic Product Loader; MFT 420 IP SLD Driven Discharge and Impresso Labeler Folded Cartons will be loaded onto the Automatic Product Loader (APL). The Driven Discharge will separate the shingled product from the APL using a speed differential. As the products move down the discharge they will pass below the MFT Impresso labeler. The labeler will be running with Accutiping speed match to consistently and precisely place the label onto the passing box. The Driven Discharge and Labeler will be mounted to a mobile stand with ridged docking to the APL. MFT will run and validate 5 carton label combinations. * As we discussed, below is the recommended changeover process when the side of the carton being labeled stays the same: 1. Remove existing cartons. 2. Adjust APL side guide opposite the bottom of the carton to compensate for product width change. 3. Unthread existing roll of labels. 4. Install new roll of labels. 5. Calibrate label sensor for new label (if required). 6. Adjust left/right position of labeler (if required). 7. Adjust left/right position of pressure roller (if required). 8. Adjust upstream/downstream placement delay for label placement. 9. Load new cartons. Changeover process when the new carton flap faces the opposite direction of previous carton: 1. Remove existing cartons. 2. Adjust left and right APL side guides to compensate for product width change. Position side guides such that the APL belt is closest to the side guide that contacts the thick, bottom side of the carton. 3. Relocate top discharge belt so that it is in line with the lower discharge belt on the opposite side. We may be able to eliminate this step by adding another top belt. 4. Adjust left/right position of the APL so the thick, bottom side of the carton is aligned with a discharge belt pinch point (top and bottom belt). 5. Adjust separation gate/hold down strap so that is positioned over the thick, bottom side of the carton. 6. Unthread existing roll of labels. 7. Install new roll of labels. 8. Calibrate label sensor for new label (if required). 9. Adjust left/right position of labeler. 10. Adjust left/right position of pressure roller (if required). 11. Adjust left/right position of labeler start sensor (if required). 12. Adjust upstream/downstream placement delay for label placement. 13. Load new cartons. * When the label is oriented so the unwind direction and copy are facing the correct direction with the wide end of the box leading, the changeover process should take approximately 15 minutes or less. (This proposal has been revised to explicitly state that MFT Automation will consider this quote Valid for 90 days.) Note: -This proposal is the result of testing of the customer products, thus it is "formal". -This proposal takes into account the URS name "URS - CBD Box Labeler" provided by Thermo Fisher with the response from MFT -MFT's standard Terms and Conditions apply. Any Terms and Conditions submitted after the order may result in additional charges. -MFT will be setting up and testing five (5) products with one (1) label combination per product. Additional set-up have been optioned. -MFT received blank labels. If the labels are to be pre-printed, the label wind direction needs to be addressed for each product. -This proposal does not included customer on-site training, installation or SAT assistance.

Will need Ed's help on Monday 4/20: Products will be here early next week. 4/13: Hoping to have to Integration tomorrow afternoon. 4/6: Still in production. Waiting on parts. 3/30: In production.
