Project Scope: Featuring: (1) conveying and top sheet tipping systems. The proposed system is a self contained top and bottom driven discharge to transport your filters and apply glue and a top sheet to them as they pass through. The system will be mounted onto an extruded aluminum frame assembly which will be slightly shorter than the length of the discharge so you can move from one line to another. The glue tank will be mounted beneath the driven discharge on the extruded aluminum. The dispense height will be 34" +/- 6". The system will come equipped with a flat belt in feed conveyor, which will run continuously, to present the filters to the driven discharge. The operator will start and stop the conveyor and adjust the speed at the conveyor. The handling of getting the filters onto the conveyor will be done by PPA. The system will present a filter into the driven discharges. In between the opening of the two driven discharges the MFT IP 350XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder and accurately place a flat sheet onto the top of the filter where the glue was applied. The filter sheets will not be folded on this system.
