Project Scope: Featuring: MFT IP 550SLD Vacuum Discharge Industrial Performance Feeder. The proposed system would begin with an operator loading the pouches into the infeed hopper of the Friction Feeder. The feeder will be equipped with a vacuum discharge to expose the top surface of the products as they are fed. As they are transported through the discharge of the feeder, a thermal ribbon printer will print directly onto the pouches. The printed products will be collected by the operator as they exit the feeder. The Thermal Ribbon Printer will be specified and provided by Videojet. Videojet will send a technician in for startup and dialing in on the printer. Options Available: -APL 2000-290 SS Automatic Product Loader (300mm width capability) to provide increased loading capacity horizontally. -HDSR 1000-550 Stand on Rollers -Catch tray, start sensor and start sensor mount to accumulate the product as they exit the feeder into a stack for an operator to remove. Printer Notes: -The quoted speed is based on the speed of the feeder and does not take into consideration the print speed of the Videojet supplied TTO printer. Actual speeds will be determined by the TTO Printer from Videojet. -The TTO Printer will be specified and provided by Videojet. -MFT assumes that the customer and Videojet have pre-qualified both the thermal print ribbon and product for compatibility -MFT is not responsible for smudging, smearing and print quality due to incompatibility of the printer ribbon -The customer is responsible for the creation of all print formats. All formats must be provided for any testing and the machine acceptance -The customer will supply the approved thermal ribbon. If not, MFT will use the sample ribbon provide by the print engine manufacture and there is no print quality guarantee -Videojet will send a technician in for startup, set up, integration and create the recipe(s) for the printer. -MFT Automation will only mount the TTO printer to the system. MFT will not be supplying power, I/O, printer trigger signal/sensor, etc. -The feeder will come with a 30" vertical in feed hopper but actual stack height is product dependent and will be limited with the pouches per the supplied testing video. -The TTO printer will have necessary pneumatics connector (not provided by MFT) -The TTO printer will have its own power drop/connector (not provided by MFT) Note: -No URS, Specifications or FAT documents have been submitted with this proposal -Any URS, Specifications or FAT documents submitted during the quote or order phase will default to a requote -This proposal is the sole and governing document for this project -The pouches will need to be flat and free of curls, warps, twits, etc. for proper operation. -The feeder will come with a 30" vertical in feed hopper but actual stack height is product dependent and will be limited with the pouches per the supplied testing video. -Product flow will be left to right. -MFT is not providing customer on-site Training or Installation Assistance with this proposal.
