Project Scope: Featuring MFT 550 IP3 feeder and MFT VTC 4000 Conveyor Various size flattened cartons and auto bottom boxes will be stacked in the infeed hopper of the MFT 550 IP3 feeder including heavy duty rear support to accommodate longer products. The feeder will receive a signal via an RS232 Serial Control with the batch count and start signal before separating the stack of boxes placing them onto the 4 meter long Vacuum Track Conveyor. Once on the conveyor, the products will travel under a Bell-Mark supplied, mounted and integrated HD Intelijet printer. An MFT integrated vision system will inspect the 3 barcodes ensuring they match the human-readable information below each. If the vision system identifies a discrepancy in the data, the system will stop requiring the operator to manually remove the failed product before restarting the system. The HMI on the Vision System will display counts of passed and failed products. A custom catch tray will be mounted to collect the good product at the end of the line. To allow for faster changeover between products, a custom quick changeover kit will be included to allow for fast and accurate setup between batches including tool-less design where possible and SIKO Counters for height adjustments. Before the on-site machine acceptance, the MFT team will setup and validate all quoted products will work on the machine leaving the smallest or the largest for the acceptance test. Note: -No URS/Specifications were summitted with this proposal. Curt working on belt to make sure it is ready for procurement as it has a long lead time. 10/14: Kick off call with customer today. Will talk through specifics and then complete WO. Kickoff to Engineering 10-19. Asking procurement to order VTC belt, Vacuum Pump, other long lead time if possible like timing belts for motor of VTC
