Project Scope: The proposed system consists of an MFT Automation 350 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to tip Easels onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 90 per minute (with an estimated accuracy of +/- 1/8"). This proposal is contingent upon a successful test of a stack of customer supplied samples. The MFT 350 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly with Rigidized Support Plate will be utilized to support the stack from the back as they are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker Assembly will be utilized to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. Change Parts for Easels will be included support the angled product in the in feed magazine of the product as it is fed. The Moll machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 350 V3 XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 350 V3 will feed the easel into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the easel is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that Moll will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the Moll folder gluer machine. MFT Automation can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: The MFT 350 V3 Friction Feeder can be equipped with Multiple Product Detection and/or Batch Count Mode as an option. An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. An optional Vacuum Track Assembly each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.

Received approval. 6/23: Working on it in production. 6/16: Machine from show. 6/15/22 To meet the customer's requested delivery date, we will work to build a new MFT 350 V3 XED Friction Feeder system to fulfill this order. If we have parts or labor issues preventing us from supplying a new machine on time, we will supply B and R Moll with MFT 350 IP3 XED serial number 1615-09403 at the same price. (as per Peter and Mike).
