Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology 100HSM 3 Axis Labeling machine to apply labels onto products traveling on an existing Walco transport conveyor at a rate of at a rate of up to 400 per minute. This proposal is contingent upon a test of customer supplied samples and a confirmation of project details. Base products will travel on your existing Walco transport conveyor. A Multifeeder Impresso Labeling Machine will be mounted onto a Low Toe Stand on Rollers and will be positioned over the conveyor. A roll of labels (up to 20" in diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. The labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor and with computer control to supervise the labels as they travel through the labeling machine. The 100HSM will be signaled to apply a label onto the carton blank by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly The 100 HSM will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your transport conveyor to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the labeler to ensure that the label is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will install, and integrate the Impresso labeler with the existing folder transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Labeler Installation.
