Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V3 ED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to feed cards into the in feed of an intermittent motion vertical form fill and seal machine (VFFS) at a rate of up to 80 per minute. The MFT 250 V3 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. To accommodate the narrow product width one of the side guide will be mounted onto the left of the sandwich support block and one will be mounted onto the right of the sandwich support block. The feeder will be tilted forward by the customer and will signaled to feed the leaflet at an angle (perpendicular to flow) into open bags traveling on the VFFS machine and will provide back feeder status via a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeders with the existing VFFS machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options available: An optional Pneumatic Shaker can be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the cards as they are fed and to assist with product flow. The MFT 250 V3 Feeder can be equipped with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) and/or Batch Count Mode as an option. Options include a Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers, a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
