Project Scope: The proposed system is for a base feeder and a tipping feeder. The base feeder will consist of an APL 2000-485 Automatic Product Loader providing increased loading capacity to the feeder. The MFT IP 550XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will separate and feed your sheets from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. Once the start sensor detects a passing lug the feeder will feed a sheet into your existing lugs. The tipping feeder will consist of a MFT IP 250XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder which will separate and feed your cards from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. Once the start sensor detects a passing base product it will accurately place a card down onto the top sheet. The feeder will be able to place 2 cards, with a 3/16" gap, and 3 cards with a 1" gap. The pressure roller will aid the transfer of the cards to your conveyor. The system will be mounted onto an extruded mounting frame over your existing GaVahren line.
