Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology Impresso Labeling machines (4” wide) to apply clear window labels onto backer cards that are traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 150 per minute. This proposal is contingent upon good quality labels that are properly die cut. Backer cards will travel on a Moll Folder Gluer Machine. A Multifeeder Impresso Labeling Machine will be straddle mounted over the Moll Folder Gluer by the customer. A Roll of labels (up to 20" in diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. The labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor and with computer control to supervise the labels as they travel through the labeling machine. A Clear Product Detect Sensor Assembly will be used to detect the clear labels. The labels will exit the peel plate and will be applied onto the backer cards that are traveling on the Moll Folder Gluer machine. The labeler will be signaled to apply a window label onto the backer card by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Each labeler will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the label is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The customer will be responsible for static control. A Static Reduction Bar can be purchased from Multifeeder as an option. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the Impresso Labelers with the Moll Folder Gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, installation services as an option at our standard rates. Option Available: The Labeler can be mounted onto an optional Multifeeder supplied Straddle Mount Assembly or a Low Toe Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. An optional Relay Interface Box can be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the labeler runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Labeler installation.

No update 7/8: Change from two labelers to one. 7/1: Still waiting on an answer for when samples will be received. 6/24: New order. Received down payment. Mark is working on getting clear label samples to determine sensor.
