Project Scope: The MFT IP 250XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will separate and feed your products from a stack in the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed through the discharge they will pass beneath a customer supplied Systech vision inspection system. The system will run in continuous motion. Multifeeder will integrate and mount the camera to the system. Steps of the inspection process: Systech will send a signal to the feeder when the inspection station is ready. Once the product is in position the feeder will send a trigger signal. Products will be moving forward during inspection, but will stop in the discharge for the operator to remove if the inspection result has the read=OK, but the Match=false. Once the inspection process is completed Systech will send 3 result signals: Insert inspection data valid – VIK output 1 Insert inspection read OK – VIK output 3 Insert inspection Match OK – VIK output 4 If all 3 signals are received the product is good and it will transfer into the catch tray for the operator to process. If the 3 match is not received the equipment needs to stop the product in the inspection position and display a fault for it to be taken out by the operator. If it does not read or receive a data valid signal the equipment needs to let it go through to the reject bin. It will only stop after X number(configurable parameter) of consecutive reject.

Hoping for FAT video tomorrow. 9/2: EE working on it. 8/26: Machine is set up in Integration and feeding product. EE need camera integration and dial in. Waiting on outstanding reject cyclinder 8/19: Machine is being set up for the provided products in Integration so that EE can start on the camera/inspection work. Still need reject cylinder due to ship 8/24. 8/12: Production working on it. Short air cylinder from Bimba (ship 8/24). 8/5: Pulled. Using old track and trace 7/29: No update 7/8: Kicked off to procurement. 7/1: Layout is approved. Kickoff scheduled for Tuesday afternoon next week. 6/24: Got layout drawing from ME this morning. Once we have approval we will kick off to procurement. 6/17: Customer shipped camera stuff to us. Should receive soon. ME will do a layout. Give a few days. 6/10: In engineering 6/3: Kick off scheduled this afternoon
