Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology feeding and labeling system (Print and Apply to apply labels onto flat boxes as they travel on the discharge of the feeder at a rate of up to 40 per minute. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 950 IP3 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will gently separate your abrasive sheets (up to 900mm or 35.43" wide) from an inclined stack and will transport them individually onto the 900mm (35.43") long open discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between flat boxes as they are fed and to assist with product flow. A Multifeeder Print and Apply Labeling machine will be positioned in line with respect to flow over the discharge of the feeder to print and apply a label (up to 4" wide) onto the flat boxes as they travel on the discharge of the feeder with a tamp applicator. The Print and Apply Labeling machine will be equipped with a standard 203 DPI print engine. An operator can load a label file via thumb drive into the labeling machine. The feeder and labeler will be mounted onto an integrated Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers with castors for height adjustment and mobility. The labeled products will exit the feeder discharge onto a customer supplied shingling conveyor. Feeder Discharge Height of 36". E-stops are included and the system will be configured to be stop on error. Both the feeder and Labeling machine run on 208-240 VAC Single Phase so a single Quad Plex is included to allow a single power connection for the entire system. The system also includes a Main Power Switch that supplies power to the entire system (labeler and feeder power). Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the feeding and labeling system. Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Options include a Spare Parts Kit, Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Installation.
