Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology feeding and labeling system (Print and Apply) to apply labels onto abrasive sheets and disks at a rate of up to 40 per minute. The MFT 550 IP Friction Feeder will gently separate your abrasive sheets or disks (up to 500mm or 19.64" wide) from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually onto the 900mm (35.64") long discharge of the feeder. Due to the nature of the products, the estimated stack height is 1" or less. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly with Support Plate will be used to support the stack from the back as they are fed. Two Air Injection Assemblies will be used to insert air in the side of the stack to reduce friction between the products as they are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted on the rear support assembly of the feeder to also reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. A Multifeeder PA 150 Print and Apply Labeling machine will be positioned in line with respect to flow over the discharge of the feeder to print and apply a label onto the abrasive sheets or disks as they travel (abrasive side down) on the discharge of the feeder with a tamp applicator. The Print and Apply Labeling machine will be equipped with a standard 203 DPI print engine. The feeder and Labeler will be mounted onto an integrated Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers with castors for height adjustment and mobility. Both the feeder and PA 150 Print and Apply Labeling machine run on 208-240 VAC Single Phase so a single Quad Plex is included to allow a single power connection for the entire system. The system also includes a Main Power Switch that supplies power to the entire system (labeler and feeder power). The labeled disks will be transferred onto a customer supplied tote for further processing. 36" discharge exit height. Do to the nature of the product, the performance is expected to be similar to the video of testing provided. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to confirm system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. This proposal includes testing the smallest and largest product sizes for a Factory Acceptance Test. Additional sizes can be tested as an option at additional investment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install the feeding and labeling system at their facility. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, and installation services as an option at our standard rates.

With that we should be able to get approval to ship. 10/14: Customer will be here next Monday and Tuesday 10/7: Customer will be on 10/18 and 10/19 for FAT. 9/30: In integration 9/23: No update 9/16: Integration complete. Ready for FAT. Filmed and sent a proof of readiness video. Waiting to schedule FAT until 2nd order is finished. 9/9: In Integration. 9/2: Moved to Electrical this morning. 8/26: Just finishing being pulled. 8/19: No Change 8/12: Call this morning working through details. Still waiting for parts to get started on build. 8/5: No change 7/29: Parts starting to arrive. 7/8: All parts are on order 7/1: Only welded frames left to order. Will be on order today 6/24: 80% of parts on order 6/17: Released to procurement and being processed. 6/10: Received layout approval yesterday. Scheduled kick off to procurement meetings 6/3: Waiting for layout approval 5/20: Working through label specifics with them. Good solution figured out. 5/13: Had meeting yesterday. Calls with customer on label samples. Still in ME queue. 5/6: Next in queue for Jacob 4/29: Kicked off to engineering last Friday. 4/22: Paid down payment and prior on this order and nothing on the other order.
