Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a MFT 103HSM Label Applicator which will unwind your label rolls to apply a label. Once the labeler detects a passing base product, on your conveyor, the labeler will use the Accutipping Controller with encoder feed back to accurately apply a label. The proposal includes a Tbased stand mount for side mount labeling. All Packaging will need to ensure the raised flap is consistently presented to the peel tip of the labeler and that there is no bounce or spacing differences as the carton passes the peel tip. The craton length is 6.25” long and there will be an estimated gap between cartons of 0.75” – 1”, roughly. This means the linear line speed of their conveyor will be about 75 MPM. We should give a little overhead to this speed, though, to account for the fluctuations in product spacing. I’d recommend we run internally at 90 – 100 MPM which provides ample safety buffer.
