Project Scope: Proposal # 31816-02 The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to present folded inserts onto an existing conveyor with consistent repeat at a rate of up to 150 per minute. The MFT 250 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. The feeder will feed the folded inserts onto the conveyor with consistent repeat using EZ Tipping Controls. A customer supplied and integrated bar code verification system will verify the bar codes on the leaflets as they travel on the conveyor. The feeder has the capability of feeding a customer selected count of product and then pause and repeat. The feeder will be equipped with a guard cover mounted over the discharge of the feeder. The MFT 250 IP3 will be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Heavy Duty Stand on Rollers. The feeder will be configured with Backer Repeat Mode consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the folded inserts are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. # 31779-R1 The revised proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology Industrial Performance SC 1000-350 Shingling Conveyor system (1100mm x 350mm) to receive and accumulate Nicorette Cards from your existing system at a rate of up to 60 per minute. Cards will travel on your existing conveyor one at time where they will be laser printed by an existing laser printing system. The printed cards will be transferred into the pinch point of a Pressure Roller Assembly on a SC 1000- 350 Shingling Conveyor (1100mm x 350mm). A Photo Optic Sensor will be mounted at the end of the conveyor to signal the host system to stop when the conveyor is full. The conveyor includes a guard cover over the pressure roller assembly. Options available: Options include a Spare Parts Kit and Standard Feeder installation. # 31817 The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology Industrial Performance SC 1000-350 Shingling Conveyor system (1100mm x 350mm) to receive and accumulate folded leaflets from your existing system at a rate of up to 150 per minute. Folded leaflets will travel on your existing conveyor one at time where they will be bar code verified by an existing bar c ode reader system. The verified leaflets will be transferred into the pinch point of a Pressure Roller Assembly on a SC 1000-350 Shingling Conveyor (1100mm x 350mm). A Photo Optic Sensor will be mounted at the end of the conveyor to signal the host system to stop when the conveyor is full. The conveyor includes a guard cover over the pressure roller assembly.
