Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to feed CR 80 Cards and other products up to 300mm (11.81") wide at a rate of up to 300 per minute. The MFT 350 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will be transport them individually onto the 375mm (14.86") long discharge of the feeder. The MFT 350 V3 XED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed the cards by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be equipped with Batch Count Mode. The feeder can be configured with optional EZ Tipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. In addition, the feeder will also be configured with Batch Count Mode to allow the feeder to be set to count a specific number of products per machine cycle. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the existing transport conveyor. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the host machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. An optional Vacuum Track Assemblies consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply). Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
