Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP3 FXED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder systems with flexible discharge to feed dosage cards and inserts vertically into your Jones Vertical Cartoning machine at a rate of up to 100 per minute. The MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your products from an inclined stack and will transfer them one at a time onto the 375mm (14.86") long flexible discharge of the feeder. The flexible discharge is equipped with segments that are angle adjustable with respect to one another to allow the angle of the discharge to be set vertically to best transfer the folded leaflets from the feeder into the carton. A Pneumatic Shaker Assembly will be mounted onto the rear support assembly of the feeder to reduce friction between the products as they are fed and to assist with product flow. Using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly, the cartoning machine will signal the feeder to feed and the feeder in turn will send back a cycle complete signal to the cartoning machine. The feeders will each be mounted onto a HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. The customer will assume responsibility for mounting, integrating, and installing the feeders. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, and installation services as an option at our standard rates.
