Project Scope: This proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology feeding and transport system to present envelopes to be printed by a customer supplied and integrated print system at a rate of up to 150 per minute. A Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 IP3 Friction Feeder will gently separate your carton blanks from an inclined stack and will transfer them onto the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support the stack from the back as the products are fed. A Pneumatic Shaker will be mounted onto the Rear Support Assembly of the feeder to assist with product flow. The products will be transferred onto a Multifeeder Technology VTC 2000-550 Vacuum Track Conveyor (2000mm x 550mm) configured with a 13" wide Silicon vacuum belt (center justified) with 15" wide belt consistent repeat. Left and Right Funnel Guides will be used to register the products side to side as they are transferred from the feeder onto the vacuum conveyor. The sheets will be fed into the pinch point of a Conveyor Wheel Assembly to allow for a positive transfer from the feeder onto the vacuum conveyor. The feeder will be equipped with Card Line software consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the envelopes are placed with consistent repeat regardless of the speed of the base machine. The system will have the ability to resume the count after a fault occurs. The operator will set the batch count on the Multifeeder system. If a fault occurs during the batch, (example double, product jam, or no product) the feeder will be signaled to stop and the transport will continue to run one half or full rotation to complete the printing of the sheets already on the transport and then will be signaled to stop. The operator will remove the bad product, and then will press "resume" and the feeder system will continue the count. The feeder will each be equipped with an input output board to allow the print system to signal the feeder and conveyor to stop if the print is not ready. The feeder is equipped with a local e-stop button for the feeder only. Bell-Mark will be responsible to add Static Control, E-Stop Buttons, Start and Stop Buttons, guarding, and safety control for the system. Next a customer supplied and integrated Bell-Mark InteliJet HD system will be straddle mounted over the conveyor to print on the sheets. A customer supplied and integrated LED Dryer will be used to cure the ink. A second set of conveyor wheels will be utilized to help transfer the product from the conveyor into the Catch Tray Pan with Magnetic Side Guides where they will be stacked and accumulated for operator removal. Multifeeder's Engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. Options Available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Sensor Assembly, and standard feeder installation.
