Project Scope: Derived from Multifeeder's label applicator systems are components that include; a powered unwind will unwind your roll of pattern pressure sensitive glue lined backer with release liner layer. The release liner will be diverted to a powered rewind while the pressure sensitive glue lined backer will be presented to a dual stage 1300 Sheet Feeder to apply your 20mm x 40mm paper sheets. The system is intended to feed these in portrait manner. A driven pinch roller assembly will adhere the paper sheets to the glue line web with a +/- 0.5mm accuracy, at speeds of up to 45 meters per minute. These paper products will be applied with a minimum 4mm gap between each. Performance contingent on good quality products, flat, consistent, free of damage. Product size variance to be subtracted from overall accuracy results. Equipment must be used in accordance with applicable operating and maintenance manuals by trained personnel. Samples guaranteed only if provided prior to initiation of order or if approved in writing by Multifeeder project management. After applying the sheets to the web, a camera system will read each code, and record in a database the list of 2D/CR and OCR Codes. The glue lined web with sheet attached, will be rewound into a finished roll. A second rewind unit is on the system to rewind a waste liner if present. Note, rolls should have 3 meter flying lead at head and tail with no glue for initial threading and finishing of roll. The finished rolls will be generated with a minimum 4mm gap between products. The 1300 Sheet Feeder system will consist of an HCP 350 Industrial Friction Feeder with Small Product Kit and a Driven Discharge 420-250 with Small Product Kit. A welded sub frame base provides support of a welded frame dual-stage drive system. Linear slides with crank handles and Siko counters will ensure ease of setup and repeatability. This system incorporates a Keyence camera system and utilize Team Viewer software for Remote Diagnostic and Analysis capacity. The Automatic Product Loader Pre Feeder has been removed per customer request due to 5,000 product lot size runs.
Notes: Canadian Bank Note W.O. 2019131 (Line #4) 10/31: FAT passed. Will ship today. 10/24: Troubleshooting issues with line 3 have been solved. Machine will be FAT ready by EOD today. Customer in next Monday and Tuesday. 10/17: Machine should FAT by EDO tomorrow. Greg and Bob are working on troubleshooting line #3 with CBN. Passed CSA. Working to hammer out FAT date with customer for week of Oct 28th. 10/10: CSA testing happening today. Integration work approx. 80% done. Pulling #4 port remote control box off today and sending to CBN. They will send line 3 back. FAT looking like the week of 10/28 10/3: Moving to Integration today. Shipment delayed a few weeks from original goal 9/26: Fully picked. In production. 9/19: Clay will email today with update and request to send green roller back. 9/12: Still working to find solution to green rubber rollers. Making progress. 9/5: Still working on green rubber rollers. Mark needs marked up drawing for rollers. Checking with a few other vendors. 8/29: Still trying to find a vendor for green rubber rollers. 8/22: Trying to find someone to do rubber rollers. Everything else on order. 8/15: Quoting and ordering parts. 80% complete. 8/8: Quoting parts 8/1: Just starting to process. 7/25: Down payment received. Need to verify WO for updates to line 3. 7/18: Down payment scheduled for payment next Tuesday 7/23.
