Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V3 ED Signature Series Friction Feeder system to tip CR 80 Cards and other products up to 200mm (7.87") wide onto base products traveling on a Moll Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute. This proposal includes an additional discount for display by B and R Moll UK at The Print Show at the NEC in Birmingham, England September 18-20th. The MFT 350 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder and will transport them individually onto the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. The Moll machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the base product, and the MFT 350 V3 ED Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product onto the spot glued surface of the product traveling below by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The MFT 350 V3 will feed the tip on product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Moll machine to assure a positive transfer from the feeder onto the base product traveling below. An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the Moll machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. The feeder will be configured with EZ Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that Moll will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the Moll folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: The feeder can be equipped with Batch Count Mode and/or Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) as an option. Optional Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
