Project Scope: The proposed labeler consists of an MFT 102HSM Label Applicator which will unwind your labels from the roll and separate them from the liner. Integration and upgrades will allow the unit to be able to run "butt cut" magnets. The labeler will use the Continuous Accutipping Controller to accurately place the label onto your passing base product. The labeler will be mounted by Trimatt. Estimated label accuracy at 75 MPM is +/- 2mms. The encoders will be provided by Trimatt. The proposed tipping feeder and base feeder will consist of a MFT IP 250XED HCP Industrial Performance Friction Feeder (tipping feeder)which will separate and feed your individual magnets. The magnets will be accurately applied (estimated within +/- 1mm @ 75 MPM)using the Continuous Accutipping Controller. The base feeder will consist of a MFT V 350ED Signature Series Friction Feeder which will use Backer Repeat mode to place the base product at a user settable pitch. The feeders will be mounted and transfer rollers for the feeder will be done by Trimatt.
Notes: Trimatt WO 2018037 3/29: 5" vacuum takeaway arrived today. Clay and Ed will mount. Waiting for approval from Matt to ship. 3/22: Received large magnet samples. Starting testing. Issues with samples. Jim is going to talk to Matt. Integration to test a 2" label with 4" takeaway. 3/15: Feeders will ship today. Trimatt sending in additional magnet label sample. ETA 3/22. 3/8: Labeler in Integration. 3/1: In production. A few final additions. Should go to Integration Monday. 2/22: In production. Short peel plate parts. Parts going to plating today. Will be back next week. 2/15: Feeders are done. Labeler processed. Missing new plate. 2/8: Engineering layout drawing sent to Jim to send to Trimatt. Have full config for feeders.
