Project Scope: The proposed system consists two Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 IP3 WD XED Industrial Performance Series Wash Down Friction Feeder systems to feed chipboard sheets perpendicular to flow into clam shells traveling on an existing transport at a rate of up to 60 per minute. Each MFT 350 Friction Feeder will gently separate the chipboard sheets from an inclined stack in the in feed magazine of the feeder and will transfer the sheets one at time onto the 375mm (14.76") discharge of the feeder. Each feeder will be signaled to feed a sheet into a clamshells and will provide back feeder status using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly. The feeder will be equipped with Stainless steel cases, hex head fasteners, connectors, a wash down motor, and cables to accommodate wash down. The MFT 350 WD Friction feeder uses a stainless steel case to allow for cleaning with water, steam, chemicals, or a mixture of them. Also included is a Stack light Assembly for machine status at a glance. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeders with the existing conveyor. As an option Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option. Options available: The feeders can be mounted onto a Heavy Duty Wash Down Cantilever Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. and Standard Feeder Installation.
Notes: 6/22: Ship this week. 6/15: First of two feeders in Integration yesterday. Second feeder in burn in. Will be to Integration tomorrow morning. Rob working on it. Samples are here. 6/8: Case doors have been laser annealed. Discharge side brackets in machine to be modified. Passivation parts due in 6/8 or 6/9. Done by 6/16. Will need burn in. 6/1/2017 Discharge side brackets were sent to shop to be modified to Rev OA for the sensor. 6/1: parts need to be passivated. Waiting on logo for lids to be etched. (Roy) 5/25: Using 2 existing show washdown units. Sales is working on art work for laser engraving.
