Project Scope: The proposed system consist of a Multifeeder Technology Impresso Labeling machine to apply rectangular closure labels from the bottom onto hot dog cartons traveling on a Multifeeder supplied conveyor at a rate of up to 80 per minute. Cartons will travel on the exit conveyor of your existing cartoning machine and will be transferred one at a time onto a Multifeeder 24" long transport conveyor. Next a Multifeeder Impresso Labeling machine will apply a closure label onto the front edge of the carton traveling on the conveyor. Two sizes “1331” and “883” boxes will be received from the Keymae machine with the wide dimension leading. The 1331 box is 7" wide and 5.75” long. The 883 box is 10” wide and 6 7/8” long. Next a Motor Drive Pressure Roller Assembly will be used to positively drive the box from the top as a pressure wheel pushes the box closed and folds the label over the bottom edge of the box to secure it closed. The closed cartons will be transferred onto an existing shingling conveyor for further processing. A Roll of labels (up to 13" outer diameter, 3" inner diameter) is loaded on the unwind, which gently unwinds the roll of labels with to stage them to be applied. The labeler is equipped with a brushless servo motor and with computer control to supervise the labels as they travel through the labeling machine. The Multifeeder Labeling machine will be signaled to apply a clear closure label onto the leading edge of the box by a Multifeeder Technology Impresso Labeling machine. The Multifeeder Impresso Labeling Machine will be mounted onto a Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility. The labeler will not be wash down but will be cleaned every night with gentle ZEP brand chemicals. The system will have the ability to be placed in a 165 degree F room to sanitize every 7-14 days for 30 minutes or less. Mechanical Engineering will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the labeling performance of each product size at the rate specified. Options Available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly and Standard Labeler installation.

Asking that we push install back 1 week. 11/16: Ed Kraft identified that wrong labels were sent to us. Clay sent back with some box samples. Need to test labels before shipping. Requested wk of 11/29 for tech for install. 11/9: Goal to have FAT video filmed and sent to client 11/10. Brian working on it. Concern with adhesion of label to box. 11/2: Experiencing delays due to issue with adhering provided label to the box. Integration and ME working on it. Still need to test solution. 10/26: In Integration. ME is reworking mount for label application roller. 10/5: Still in EE. 9/28: In assembly. To wiring today. 9/21: Ed Kraft sent the labels. Last parts due in this week. 9/14: Waiting on incoming parts. Labels still haven't arrived. Ed Kraft said they would be sent. Clay will reach out again. 9/7: Still have not received labels from Ed Kraft. Clay will ping Ed for an update. 8/31: Still waiting on labels. Ed Kraft said labels should be here "2-3 weeks" 8/24: Waiting on label samples. Clay reached out to Ed Kraft on 8/23 7/20: Received revised PO for changes. Will need to push back 9/1 ship date. Clay will need to send new revised acknowledgment and ship date. 7/13: Off the shelf conveyor. Mark approved and Tomas will get quote today. 7/6: No response about conveyor. Will bump QC and Doerner. 6/29: Ed checking to see if we can get parts in stainless steel. 6/22: Need to provide client with options for 24 inch conveyor. Mild steel or upgrade for washdown stainless steel. 6/15: Smaller conveyor that QC makes is 3 feet. They want 2 feet. Checking with customer of why they want 2 feet. Will they accept 3 feet? 6/8: Signed layout drawing with note calling out stainless steel stand. Make cover aluminum. 6/7: Client has opted for the upgraded stand to stainless steel and sent PO to confirm. 6/1: Layout is signed. 5/25: Issue with stand (material). Clay will communicate with customer. Down payment check mailed 5/22 5/11: Customer requested payment from their customer and will send once they receive it. Need layout drawing. 4/20: Client wants to place equipment under high heat (165 degrees) once a week to disinfect. Conveyor needs to be looked at for what should be used. Need client 1st pay to kick off. Once received send to ME before WO kick-off.
