Project Scope: This proposal consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 V3 XED Signature Series Friction Feeder to feed cards onto an existing conveyor at a rate of up to 80 per minute. The MFT 250 V3 XED feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will be used to support that stack from the back as they are fed. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.76") long discharge of the feeder. The cards will be fed one at a time onto a customer supplied and integrated conveyor. A Standard Interface Cable Assembly will be used to allow the host PLC to signal the feeder to feed and provide back feeder status. The feeder will include metal conversion parts for the worm shafts, worm gears, and ball screws for the sliding block for this new feeder as well as their existing feeder serial number 1611-9385. The upgrade parts will be installed on the new feeder by MFT and the remaining parts for SN 1611-9385 will be shipped with the new feeder for installation by Brunel. Options Available: The MFT 250 V3 feeder can be configured with optional Easy Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the tip on insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. The MFT 250 V3 feeder can be equipped with optional Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that allows each feeder to better grip the products as they are fed. The MFT 250 V3 can be equipped with Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) or Batch Count Modes as an option. Other options include a Signal Light Assembly, a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation. The feeder system can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for height adjustment and mobility.
