Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 Industrial Performance IP3 XLD HCP Friction Feeder to feed tip various products up to 300mm (11.81") wide onto a Bobst Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 500 per minute (with a tolerance of +/- 1/16" for speeds up to 80mpm). Each MFT 350 IP3 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. A Single Vacuum Track Assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply). As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 350mm wide (13.77") 600mm (23.64") long discharge of the feeder. The MFT 350 will be signaled to feed by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be mounted onto an adjustable mounting frame to allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted in the x, y, and z directions on the folder gluer machine. The MFT 350 will be configured with Hard Carcass Discharge Belts, Precise Seiko Counter Height Adjustment knobs, Adjustable Discharge Side Guides, and a Hard Carcass Nose Roller Assembly to allow the discharge to be placed close to the product traveling below. Each feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card. This proposal includes a lump sum discount that includes the trade in of Multifeeder MFT 250 serial number 0441-07149 and MFT 350 serial number 0440-07147 for an order placed on or before November 14th, 2016. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Optional discharge upgrades: 1. Upgrade to a 150mm wide 600mm closed frame discharge to best fit between the carrier belts on the Bobst. 2. Upgrade to a 75mm wide 600mm open frame discharge (can feed products wider than the width of the discharge) to best fit between the carrier belts on the Bobst. 3. Upgrade to a 125mm wide 600mm open frame discharge (can feed products wider than the width of the discharge) to best fit between the carrier belts on the Bobst. Options Available: An optional Electronic Interface Box Assembly can be used to signal the Folder Gluer machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. An optional Multifeeder supplied Venturi style vacuum pump with mounting bracket and flow regulator can be used as a vacuum supply. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
Notes: The Discount of $ 2,696.00 is split 50-50 between MFT and RYPAC. Commission is $ 66,094.00 x .15 = $ 9,914.10 minus half of discount ($ 2,696.00 or $1,348.00) equals $ 8,566.10.
