Project Scope: This proposal consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 HCP ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to tip various products up to 200mm wide onto your existing card line at a rate of up to 500 per minute with an accuracy of +/- 1.6mm along with a Multifeeder Technology APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 190mm) to be used with an existing Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to allow for increased in feed magazine capacity. This proposal includes net 45 day terms with no down payment. This proposal is for your purchase order 408368 provided to Multifeeder on 4/20/15. The feeder will be equipped with two longer top discharge belts to require the angle of the discharge to be set to minus 15 degrees as per your request. The feeder will be used with the discharge in a fixed minus 15 degrees position so belt tensioners will not be required. The MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your CR 80 cards up to 200mm (11.81") wide from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides (as per AZ Specification) with 250mm long shafts to hold the guides to ensure that the product is straight as it is fed. The feeder will be equipped with Hard Carcass Discharge Belts and a 950 Motor Package for increased speed and accuracy. The feeder will be equipped with dual vacuum track assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travel over the chamber to allow the feeder to better grip the products as they are fed (house vacuum supply). The feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the pinch point of a customer-supplied and integrated pressure roller assembly by a customer supplied laser sensor. The feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of software and hardware using a customer-supplied encoder to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes the computer timing compensation package changes the speed and the timing of the feeder to be certain that the product is placed accurately onto the card regardless of the speed of the base machine. The feeder will also be equipped with the latest version of software including the Card Line Software along with a plug to allow Atlantic Zeiser to wire their encoder to the MFT 250 IP Friction feeder. As the speed of the base machine changes the card line software package varies the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. Each feeder can be controlled using commands given through the serial port and will be mounted by Atlantic Zeiser. The Allen wrenches, circuit testers, and power cords will be supplied by Atlantic Zeiser. In addition, a Multifeeder Technology APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader (2000mm x 190mm) is proposed to be used with an existing Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder to allow for increased in feed magazine capacity. The Automatic Product Loader will be mounted on two height adjustable legs with locking castors to allow the loader to be positioned in line with respect to an existing MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder. A Photo Optic Sensor will be mounted in the in feed magazine of the feeder at an optimum stack height. Once the stack drops below a pre-set level the Photo Optic Sensor will signal the loader to replenish the stack. Left and Right Side Guides will be used to register the stack of product side to side as they are transferred from the loader into the feeder. The control panel for the Automatic Product Loader will be mounted on the side opposite of the control panel for the MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder. Options Available: As an optional a set of belt tensioners can be added to the feeder is the angle of the discharge is to be set to an angle different that minus 15 degrees. An optional Remote Keypad Assembly can be used to allow the controls of the feeder to be located in the optimum position. Other options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation.
