Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system with flexible discharge to feed paper pads into your AB-180 bagging machine at a rate of up to 20 per minute. The MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your pads from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 375mm (14.86") long flexible discharge of the feeder. The flexible discharge is equipped with segments that are angle adjustable with respect to one another to allow the angle of the discharge to be set vertically to best transfer the pads from the feeder into the bag. Using a Standard Interface Cable Assembly, the APS bagging machine will signal the feeder to feed the required count of products into the bagging machine, the feeder in turn will send back a cycle complete signal to the bagging machine. APS will assume responsibility for mounting, integrating, and installing the feeder. Multifeeder can provide mounting, integration, and installation services as an option at our standard rates. Options Available: An option available is an evaluation by TUV to verify that each system is compliant with UL508a/NFPA79. In addition the Friction Feeder system is compliant with the following: EN60204 Safety of Machinery - Electrical Equipment of Machines ISO 12100 Safety of Machinery - Basic Concepts EN1050 Risk assessment (called out by ISO12100) Optional Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber can be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. The feeder can be mounted onto an optional HDSR 1000-250 Stand on Rollers for mobility. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
