Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 350 V Signature Series Series ED Friction Feeder system to tip various products up to 200mm (7.87”) onto base products traveling on a Vega Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 300 per minute with a tolerance of +/- 1/8". The MFT 250 feeder will gently separate your products from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm (7.87") long discharge of the feeder. The Vega machine will feed a base sheet, and the MFT 350 V ED Friction Feeder will be signaled by a Photo Optic Start Sensor to feed a product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the Vega machine. The feeder will be configured with ezTipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes, the computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that the customer will mount, install, and integrate the feeder with the Vega folder gluer machine. Multifeeder can provide mounting, installation, and integration services as an option at our standard rates. Options available: Options include a MFT 350 V Signature Series Friction Feeder, Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) and Batch Count Mode. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Lowe Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation. Lease to own.
