Project Scope: The proposed system consists of two Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 IP ED Industrial Performance Friction Feeders to tip various products up to 200mm wide onto your existing card line at a rate of up to 300 per minute. This proposal includes net 45 day terms with no down payment provided the balance of the feeders are shipped within 24 months of the date of purchase order. This proposal requires that the MFT 250 feeders be ordered and shipped with a minimum quantity of two feeders per order to save on building and shipping costs. Each MFT 250 Friction Feeder will gently separate your products up to 200mm wide from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 200mm long discharge of the feeder. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides (as per AZ Specification) with 250mm long shafts to hold the guides will be used to ensure that the product is straight as it is fed. Each feeder will also be equipped with the latest version of Card Line Software to allow each feeder to be controlled via the serial port. A plug is included to allow Atlantic Zeiser to wire their encoder to the MFT 250 IP Friction feeder. As the speed of the base machine changes the card line software package varies the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the CR 80 card is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. Signal lights, power cords, and Allen Wrenches are not included to help reduce the investment required per feeder. Lead time is 4-6 weeks for each release of 2-4 feeders. Options Available: Each MFT 250 feeder can be equipped with an optional APL 2000-190 Automatic Product Loader for increased in feed magazine capacity. The loader can be configured with a Low Product Detect Sensor signal the APL to replenish the stack and a sets of two adjustable legs to make a complete roll away package. Each MFT 250 can be equipped with a vacuum track assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber to allow the feeder to better grip the products as they are fed. An optional Remote Keypad Assembly can be used to allow the controls of the feeder to be located in the optimum position. Other options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation.
