Project Scope: The revised proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 XED Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system configured with 375mm (14.76") long extended discharge to present PVC Tags to receive eyelets from a customer-supplied and integrated Edward Segal Eyelet machine when the tags are in a stop position on the feeder discharge at a rate of up to 60 per minute. The feeder will gently separate the Tags onto the feeder discharge. Left and Right Discharge Side guides ED size (200mm or 7.87" long) will be used to be certain that the Tags are straight as they travel on the feeder discharge. The operator can set the position the Tags will stop on the feeder discharge. Multifeeder will supply two angle brackets to allow the feeder to be tilted back 15 degrees to best integrate with the eyelet machine. Next a customer-supplied and integrated Edward Segal Eyelet machine will apply an eyelet to the Tags while they are in a stopped position. The Eyelet machine will provide a closed contact cycle complete signal back to the PLC, and the PLC will then signal the feeder to move another tag into position to receive an eyelet. The PLC will be also used to allow the operator to set the count of completed cards (10, 15, 20, or 25 tags). The completed tags will be transferred into a customer supplied bin. Mode #1: The PLC can be set to signal the feeder and eyelet machine to create certain number of tags into the bin and pause for s set amount of time (.1-10 seconds) and repeat. Mode #2: The PLC can also receive an sensor input to start a count and eyelet cycle and then wait for another start signal to count and eyelet another group. Multifeeder’s engineering team will create a system drawing for customer approval. System Integration includes a Factory Acceptance Test to verify system performance before shipment. System Integration and testing includes testing of all individual pieces (PLC and feeder) to perform as one complete system. Integration also includes testing of the feeding performance of each product size at the rate specified. A detailed set up video will be created showing step by step how to set up and operate the equipment with each of the different samples provided at the rates specified prior to shipment. This proposal assumes that the customer will install and integrate the feeder system with the Eyelet machine. As an option, Multifeeder can provide installation and integration services at our standard rates. Optional Available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder installation.
