Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance IP XLD Friction Feeder to feed CR 80 cards or pouches onto base products traveling on an existing vacuum conveyor at a rate of up to 500 per minute with a tolerance of up to +/-1/16”. The MFT 250 feeder will gently separate your products up to 200mm (7.87") wide from a vertical stack of the in feed hopper of the feeder. As the products are fed, they will be transported individually through the 600mm (23.64") long discharge of the feeder. An APL 1000-250 Automatic Product Loader (1000mm x 250mm) will be positioned behind the feeder to allow for a small stack in the feed magazine of the feeder and for increased in feed magazine capacity. A Photo Optic Start Sensor will be mounted in the in feed magazine of the feeder to signal the Automatic Product Loader to replenish the stack once it drops below a preset level. The feeder will be configured with a vacuum track assembly consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber to allow the feeder to best grip the pouches as they are fed. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides will be used to be certain that the pouches are straight as they are fed and transferred from the feeder onto the carrier on the vacuum conveyor. The feeder will be configured with Hard Carcass Discharge belts and a 950 Watt Motor Package for improved speed and accuracy. The host vacuum conveyor will feed a base sheet, a glue machine will apply glue to the base sheet and the MFT 250 IP XLD Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a pouch into the pinch point of a top belt assembly onto the spot glued surface by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping controls consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. The computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately on the spot glued surface regardless of the speed of the base machine. This proposal assumes that Disc will mount the feeder and the Automatic Product Loader onto the host machine. Multifeeder will install the feeder and train your staff on set up and operation. (estimated at two days) Options Available: An optional Electronic Interface Box can be used to signal the host machine to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Spare Parts Kit and a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. Commission Calculation: commission = .15 * ($ 33,995.00 - Non commissionable items (vacuum supply) - half of discount = .15 * ($ 33,995.00 - 1,222.00)- .5 * $ 1,638.00 = $ 4,915.95- $ 819.00 = $ 4,096.95
