Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 550 XED Industrial Performance friction feeder system to feed literature up to 500mm wide (19.68") into an existing Multifeeder HSC Collating System at a rate of up to 120 per minute. The feeder will be straddle mounted onto the existing Multifeeder HSC High Speed Collating system using an extruded aluminum Straddle Mount Assembly. The feeder will interface with the existing GT controller using basic serial control. A Photo Optic Start Sensor can be used to signal the feeder to feed. A Heavy Duty Rear Support Assembly will support the stack of product from the back as they are fed. Dual Vacuum Track Assemblies each consisting of a vacuum chamber and a feed belt with holes that travels over the chamber will be used to allow the feeder to best grip the products as they are fed. We will include the following hardware to make the Alles of Florida feeder identical to the ones we sold on the Miami Dade system back in 2008, the feeder will need the following added: 70322 IO Board kit with custom Internal wiring harness to make 3 input and 3 output signals available at DB25(J7) connector for connection to GT controller Custom Internal wiring harness to connect IO Board channels to trigger Dataman reader, trigger glue head solenoids, and receive glue sensor signal Cable from Estop control box to feeder Cable from Encoder Splitter box to feeder They would also need a power cable from the Power Distribution box. They will also need several settings programmed into the feeder for all the IO Board channels. Their encoder counts/100mm is also likely a non-default value. Options available: Options include a Spare Parts Kit, a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
