Project Scope: The budgetary proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder system with 600mm (23.64") extended discharge to tip small leaflets up to 200mm (7.87") wide onto a Heidelberg vacuum base at a rate of up to 500 per minute with an accuracy of up to +/- 1/16". This proposal is contingent upon a successful test of a stack of customer-supplied samples and confirmation of project details. The host machine will feed a base product, a glue machine shall apply glue to the product, and a Multifeeder MFT 250 IP XLD Friction Feeder with 600mm (23.64") extended discharge will feed a product onto the spot glued surface . The feeder will be straddle mounted by the customer or can be mounted onto an optional adjustable moutned frame to allow the postion of the feeder to be easily adjusted in the x, y, and z directions. A 950W Motor drive package and hard carcass discharge belts for optimum performance and accuracy. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides will be used to be certain that the cards are straight as they travel on the feeder discharge. The MFT 250 feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. The computer timing compensation package will vary the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately on the spot glued surface regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card. Options available: Other options include a Spare Parts Kit, A Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
