Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology MFT 250 ED Signature Series Friction Feeder with a 200 mm (7.87”) long discharge to feed instruction booklets up to 200mm (7.87”) wide onto a package of vials as they travel on your existing conveyor (speed of 68 fpm) at a rate of up to 10 per minute. The feeder will be straddle mounted over the conveyor and will gently separate the folded leaflets onto the feeder discharge. As the package approaches the feeder will be feed single folded booklet onto the package by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The operator will be able to change the feeder speed to best match the line speed to ensure proper placement of the instruction booklet. The feeder will be staddle mounted over the conveyor (38” high and 12.5” wide) using be mounted onto an optional CS 1000-250 Cantilever Stand on Rollers for height adjustment. The feeder can operate on 110VAC and a Spare Parts Kit is included. Options Available: The feeder can be equipped with Batch Count Mode or Multiple Product Detection (Double Detection) as an option. Other options include a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly, and Standard Feeder Installation.
