Project Scope: The proposed system consists of a Multifeeder Technology Inc. MFT 550 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder with 375mm (14.76") extended discharge to feed slip sheets up to 500mm (19.68") wide into boxes perpendicular to flow as they travel on your existing conveyor at a rate of up to 60 per minute. This proposal is contingent upon a successful test of a stack of customer-supplied samples. The MFT 550 Industrial Performance Friction feeder system will gently separate the slip sheets one at a time onto the feeder discharge. The Feeder system will be signaled to feed a slip sheet into a box as it travels on your existing conveyor from the side by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. The feeder system will be mounted onto an HDSR 1000-550 Heavy Duty Stand on Roller for height adjusment and mobility. The feeder system can be equipped with an optional static reduction station consisting of a power supply and a static reduction bar mounted on the top and bottom of the products as they are fed to reduce static. Options Available: An Electronic Interface Box can be used to signal the conveyor to stop if the feeder runs empty or has a fault. Other options include a Low Product Sensor Assembly, a spare parts kit, and standard feeder installation. Startup assistance at your location can be purchased, plus travel and living expenses that are billed at actual cost. Additional hours are available at our standard rates. We recommend that the technician set up the equipment at your facility and train your personnel on proper operation, adjustments and maintenance. Equipment not manufactured by Multifeeder is quoted on the basis of proposals from the vendor. Price changes from the vendor will be adjusted at the time of your order. This proposal reflects the use of Multifeeder Technology’s standard specifications. Any alteration to this proposal will be on a time and materials basis. Technical support will be scheduled after a signed purchase order has been received by Multifeeder Technology.
