Project Scope: An MFT 250 XED Industrial Performance “IP” Series Friction feeder system with 200mm extended discharge to feed slip sheets up to 200mm (7.87”) wide onto stacks of product as they travel on your existing conveyor at a rate of up to 60 per minute. The MFT 250 Friction feeder will separate the slip sheets one at a time onto the feeder discharge. The MFT 250 Industrial Performance Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a slip sheet on top of a stack of product as it travels on your existing conveyor by a Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Left and Right Discharge Side Guides will be used to be certain that the products are straight as they are fed. The feeder can be mounted onto a customer supplied mount or onto a purchased optional MFT 250 Straddle Mount Assembly. The feeder will be configured with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor the speed of the base machine. As the speed of the base machine changes the computer timing compensation package varies the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed and timing of the base machine.
