Project Scope: Sequence of Operation: The proposed system consists of an MFT 350 Industrial Performance “IP” XLD Friction Feeder with 600mm long 350mm wide discharge to feed CR 80 cards and other products up to 300mm (11.81”) wide onto a Folder Gluer machine at a rate of up to 450 per minute with a tolerance of +/-1/16”. This proposal is contingent upon a successful test of a stack of customer-supplied samples. We will waive the expedite fee for improved delivery for a value of $ 1,500.00 for an order received on or before July 31, 2009. The Folder Gluer Machine will feed a base sheet and the MFT 350 IP XLD Friction Feeder will be signaled to feed a product into the pinch point of a top belt assembly on the folder gluer by a Tipping Photo Optic Start Sensor Assembly. Left and Right Discharge Side guides will be used to be certain that the products are straight as they are fed. The feeder will be equipped with Continuous Motion Accutipping consisting of an encoder with wheel mounted on your base machine to monitor its speed. As the speed of the base machine changes the computer timing compensation package varies the speed and timing of the feeder to ensure that the insert is placed accurately regardless of the speed of the base machine. This feature also allows the operator to place two inserts one after another on a base card. The feeder will be mounted onto a square bar mounting frame that will allow the position of the feeder to be adjusted quickly and easily in the x, y, and z directions. The MFT 350 Friction feeder can be equipped with an optional set of CD Change parts to feed CDs. This kit consists of a special shaped rear support, two in feed guide bars, Product Side Guides, Dual Air injection nozzles with mounting and regulator, set of special feed belts for CDs. An Electronic Interface Box can be included to allow the feeder to signal a fault for the gluer or the folder gluer. Options available: An optional MFT 250 XLD Friction feeder can be purchased to feed items up to 200mm (7.87”) wide. An optional 600mm long and 150mm wide discharge can be included as a change part to allow the feeder discharge to best fit between the carrier belts on the Bobst. The feeder can be equipped with a Higher Performance motor for greater speed and accuracy. Other optional items include a Spare Parts Kit and a Low Product Detect Sensor Assembly. As an option start up assistance can be purchased at your location, plus travel and living expenses that are billed at actual cost. Additional hours are available at our standard rates. We recommend that the technician set up the equipment at your facility and train your personnel on proper operation, adjustments and maintenance. Equipment not manufactured by Multifeeder is quoted on the basis of proposals from the vendor. Price changes from the vendor will be adjusted at the time of your order. This proposal reflects the use of Multifeeder Technology’s standard specifications. Any alteration to this proposal will be on a time and materials basis. Technical support will be scheduled after a signed purchase order has been received by Multifeeder Technology. Please allow enough time for your purchase order to be received before scheduling service support. Commission Calculation = 29,445.00 X .15 = $ 4,416.75.
